Before the year gathers pace, take a weekend to replenish your reserves.
By November, many of us are already beginning to feel the pull of the end-of-year rush. There are people to organise, commitments to meet and an ever-growing list of things to finish—often before the festive season has even begun.
As women we hold a lot, for ourselves and for those around us. REPLENISH is an opportunity to step out of the seasonal momentum before you find yourself running on empty. An invitation to put your needs and desires first for a change.
Over two restorative nights in the beautiful Kauaeranga Valley, you’ll be supported in the company of women through yoga, movement, meditation, breathwork, ritual, self-enquiry, honest conversations, nourishing plant-based food, nature, sauna, spa and unstructured time to rest.
But this is more than a relaxing weekend away.
Together, we’ll explore where your energy is currently going, what may be quietly draining your reserves and what genuinely helps you feel restored, resourced and more like yourself.
You’ll leave feeling rested, nourished and more connected to what sustains you—with a clearer sense of how to care for your energy as the year gathers pace.
THE HEART OF REPLENISH
We often wait until we’re exhausted before giving ourselves permission to stop.
Even then, the things we reach for may offer temporary relief without truly restoring us. Replenishment asks a different question:
What actually gives something back to you?
Across the weekend, we’ll explore:
Where your energy is currently being spent
The less obvious “energy leaks” that can leave you stretched or flat
The difference between temporary relief and genuine restoration
What your body and nervous system may be asking for
The practices, people, places and choices that help you feel most like yourself
How to protect your reserves as life becomes busier
This won’t be about creating another list of things you “should” be doing. Through guided reflection, journalling, embodied practices and supportive conversation, you’ll begin identifying your own realistic and sustainable ways to stay connected to what nourishes you.
You’ll also have the chance to experience replenishment directly—not just talk about it.
THE RHYTHM OF YOUR WEEKEND
Friday — Arrive & Exhale
From the moment you arrive, the invitation is to slow down.
There’ll be time to settle into your room, explore RiverSong and begin leaving the pace of everyday life behind.
We’ll gather for an opening circle and a grounding movement practice before sharing a nourishing evening meal. Later, cacao, reflection and connection will ease us into the weekend and help create a warm, welcoming space within the group.
Nothing needs to be achieved. Friday is about arriving—not only at RiverSong, but back in yourself.
Saturday — Restore Your Reserves
Saturday is the heart of REPLENISH: a full day devoted to restoring your energy and reconnecting with what sustains you.
We’ll begin with an energising morning yoga practice and meditation, followed by a nourishing breakfast.
Later, through journalling, self-enquiry and supportive group conversation, we’ll take an honest look at your personal reserves. Where is your energy going? What leaves you feeling scattered, overstretched or depleted? What helps you return to yourself?
Alongside this reflection, the day offers a rich combination of restorative experiences: breathwork, slower movement, time in nature, sauna, spa and deeply nourishing food.
There’ll also be unstructured time to sleep, read, walk, soak, connect with others—or simply enjoy having nowhere else you need to be.
As evening arrives, we’ll gather again for a relaxed shared experience that may include sound, music or singing, followed by time to unwind.
Sunday — Carry It Home
Sunday morning begins slowly, with movement, breath and meditation to help you notice how you feel after a day of genuine replenishment.
After breakfast, we’ll explore how to protect what you’ve restored once you return home.
Rather than leaving with an ambitious wellbeing plan, you’ll identify a few meaningful choices, boundaries or practices that feel realistic for your actual life—particularly as the end-of-year season gathers momentum.
After a final nourishing lunch, we’ll close the weekend together, giving you time to reflect on what has become clearer and what you would like to carry forward.

MEET YOUR HOST
Sarah has been teaching yoga for around 15 years, with an approach grounded in mindful movement, nervous-system awareness and respect for each person’s individual experience.
Her teaching brings together yoga, meditation, breathwork, self-enquiry and deep rest in a way that is accessible, thoughtful and free from pressure to perform.
Sarah, with husband Pete, created RiverSong as a place where people can step away from everyday demands, reconnect with nature and themselves, and experience what becomes possible when there is time and space to pause.
REPLENISH reflects her belief that wellbeing isn’t about constantly trying to improve ourselves. Sometimes what we need most is to stop, listen and give something back to the parts of us that have been doing so much.
COME AND REPLENISH
This is your invitation to step away before the busiest part of the year begins.
To move and rest.
To eat well and breathe deeply.
To notice what has been draining you.
To reconnect with what gives something back.
Come away feeling rested, nourished and more connected to what sustains you—with a clearer sense of how to care for your energy as the year gathers pace.
